The chipbreaker of this PCD insert made by

following its formation thus preventing the creation
of the long and disturbing aluminum chips.
The working process is not anymore interrupted by chips caught in the system. The aluminum chips are easily removed and prepared for recycling.
PCD inserts with chipbreaker in the most common ISO designs can be supplied from stock.
LACH DIAMOND developed the so-called
»dia-compact« monoblock diamond milling cutter for face and square angle milling of aluminum parts for the automobile, electro industry and their suppliers.
This tool has in the meantime won the 2004 Innovation Award of the State of Hessen.
The PCD diamonds used in the monoblock diamond milling cutter are with the steel bearing element a firm unit. This design allows the milling cutter in the HSC range to run at a cutting speed of up to 15,000 m/min. and a feed speed of up to 120 m/min.
The »dia-compact« monoblock diamond milling cutter is supplied so that it is ready for operation and can be immediately attached to the machine.
